Australian children’s eyewear brand Frankie Ray is introducing a playful new addition to its summer range with the Mix ‘n Match Snap Sunnies Sets, designed to make wearing sunglasses a fun, interactive experience for children aged 3-12 years. Each set features interchangeable arms that children can swap using finger-friendly snap hinges, letting them customise their sunglasses with different colours and patterns.
The Girls Set features watermelons, cherries and checks, while the Boys Set includes fish, palm trees and stripes. With 22 combinations to create, the sets encourage children to experiment with their own style, match their sunglasses to their outfit or simply change things up whenever they feel like it.

For Frankie Ray founder and designer Bec Bennet, the new Snap Sets bring together two things central to the brand: encouraging children to enjoy time outdoors and protecting their eyes. “Frankie Ray is BIG on fun in the sun but even bigger on protecting little peepers,” says Bec. “Our Mix ‘n Match Sunnies Sets encourage little people to get creative, get outdoors and have some fun in the sun!”.
Beyond their playful designs, the sunglasses feature impact-resistant Category 3 lenses that offer 100% UVA and UVB protection (UV400) and meet Australian eyewear safety standards. As Bec explains, the protective lenses are “the secret hero of our eyewear!”.
