Planning your trip to Toy Fair 2027 in New York? Attendees will discover more than just the latest toys on display when the show returns to the Javits Center from February 20 to 23.
The U.S. Toy Association™ is introducing Central PLAYce, a new gathering space where buyers, exhibitors, inventors, and other industry professionals can connect, recharge, and conduct business throughout the four-day event.
“New York City has been home to Toy Fair for more than 120 years,” said Kimberly Carcone, executive vice president of global experiences at The Toy Association™. “Central PLAYce celebrates that legacy by bringing the energy and sense of connection inspired by the city’s iconic Central Park to the heart of the show floor.”

The space will offer comfortable lounges, greenery-inspired décor, interactive activations, photo opportunities, and convenient food and beverage options. Designed to keep attendees immersed in the energy of the show floor between appointments, Central PLAYce will also host special programming aimed at fostering collaboration across the global toy industry. Additional details will be announced in the months ahead.
Level 1 will also continue to serve as Toy Fair’s hub for innovation, bringing together emerging companies, entrepreneurs, and industry-leading educational programming. Toy Fair University®, the show’s educational program, will relocate to Level 1 with a fresh lineup of expert-led sessions covering timely business topics and emerging industry trends. Also returning are the Student Showcase, highlighting the next generation of toy and game designers from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Otis College of Art + Design, and Launch Pad, the show’s dedicated destination for first-time exhibitors introducing products to the North American market.
“Level 1 has become synonymous with fresh ideas and entrepreneurial spirit,” Carcone said. “Central PLAYce builds on that momentum by creating a dynamic gathering place where attendees can discover new products, connect with colleagues, and strengthen business relationships throughout the show.”
